Megyn Kelly’s show has hit yet another low in total viewers. To make matters worse, the most recent episode of “Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly” lost to a years-old rerun of “Dateline.”
This was after the show had taken a one-week break. The episode before the break was the the worst-rated at the time, with 3.73 million viewers.
In the key 18-49 age demo, the news is even worse for NBC’s reportedly $17 million or more investment: The show got a .4 rating, which is down 50 percent from the premiere episode.
The drop in ratings week-to-week and the major controversies surrounding Kelly’s reporting spell a very uncertain future for her.
While she was supposed to be a star for her new network and eventually move into more hosting and reporting duties, it doesn’t take an expert to see that NBC may be looking for an out very soon.
