The death toll in the Las Vegas shooting has climbed to at least 50 and more than 200 injured – while the suspected gunman has been identified as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock from Mesquite, Nevada, according reports.

Police said Paddock died on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel.
He had a criminal past and was known to local law enforcement, NBC News reported. He has no known connection to terrorism and police have not called the shooting a terrorist attack, according to the network.
A woman who was seen sitting with the suspect’s car before the incident is still at large, Lombardo said.
NBC News said that police described Danley as his companion who had been living with him. Police are also searching Paddock’s house.
Two off-duty police officers were among the killed, officials said early Monday.
Country music star Jason Aldean was performing when the shots began ringing out Sunday night at the Route 91 Harvest Festival.
Officers confronted the suspect on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino across the street from the concert, Lombardo said.
Concert-goers reported hearing what they described as automatic gun fire during the shooting.
