President Trump is blaming “Obama people” for the embarrassing leaks of contentious private phone calls he’s had with the leaders of Australia and Mexico.
“It’s a disgrace that they leaked because it’s very much against our country,” Trump told Fox News, blaming civil servants loyal to the former president for the leaks.

“It’s a very dangerous thing for this country,” he added.
Trump vowed to replace the White House and National Security Council staff that were holdovers from the Obama administration with his own people.
But Trump disputed the characterizations of the phone calls, insisting in the interview that his calls with Mexico and Australia were “positive.”
The Washington Post reported that Trump had fumed in his call with Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, “This was the worst call by far.”
The Associated Press obtained a partial transcript of Trump’s calls with Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto, where the American leader was said to have threatened to send US troops into its southern neighbor.
Trump made the accusations of “Obama people” in an interview with Fox’s Judith Miller, who spoke with the president Saturday night after a Red Cross ball at his Palm Beach resort, Mar-a-Lago.
